Arequipa to Puno via Colca

Choose a one-day connection or an overnight stop in Chivay.

Turn the transfer into part of the trip.

Three of the selected listings explicitly finish in Puno: BABY LAMA’s one-day connection, Arequipa Explorer’s two-day tour and Peru & U’s two-day route. They solve a different problem from a round trip to Arequipa.

One long day or an overnight break?

The one-day listing combines an early Arequipa pickup, canyon sightseeing and an afternoon transfer. Its published arrival is around 19:30–20:00 near Puno’s main square. The two-day formats add a Chivay overnight. Compare a complete itinerary cost, including any room you must arrange yourself, before choosing.

Book the right Chivay address

Arequipa Explorer specifically asks travellers to book within Chivay; an outlying hotel needs additional transfers. Peru & U also identifies extra charges outside its Chivay and Puno service areas. Check the actual address before paying for accommodation. A hotel marketed as “Colca Valley” may not be inside the included pickup area.

Ask about your bags

Confirm the number and size of bags, where they remain during stops and whether you change vehicles. The one-way route means you cannot casually leave luggage at an Arequipa hotel unless you plan to return. For a trekking option, separately ask what you carry and where larger bags are stored.

Puno is a destination, not an island excursion

The older URL of the Peru & U product mentions Lake Titicaca. Its readable itinerary establishes a connection to Puno, not an included island boat tour. Reserve time for the lake separately and avoid a tight same-evening connection based on an approximate road arrival.
